Mr. Aminian has grown businesses organically and through numerous strategic M&A’s, making them successful by strengthening client relationships, building top-performing teams and architecting and commercializing scalable enterprise solutions. From 2006-2014, Mr. Aminian served as President and CEO of DAVID Corporation, an enterprise and SaaS software solutions provider for the Risk Management market. During his eight-year tenure there, he grew its revenue by sixfold and its profits by over 300%. He brings 25+ years of software and business experience including leading and operating both established data-driven corporations and high tech startups such as Oracle/Hyperion, Intergraph, Priceline and LexisNexis/Insurity. Mr. Aminian earned an undergraduate degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Utah State University and his MS in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. He also completed Finance and Marketing Executive courses at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School.

While he was building these two companies, Franco was also involved in big projects with a number of companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Wyeth, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Trelleborg. His work covered all company departments: production, planning, purchasing, shipping, sales, finance, quality control and quality assurance. Mr. Petrucci graduated from the University of Rome La Sapienza, with a degree in Electronics Engineering. While at the university, he held freelance positions as a programmer, analyst, system administrator, process consultant and project manager on complex multinational projects.

Prior to that, Mr. Pflieger was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at Artha Capital Management, Inc., a long/short Emerging Market hedge fund, from 2011 until 2014. Mr. Pflieger was responsible for the firm’s investments in Latin America and South Africa. Prior to joining Artha Capital, Mr. Pflieger was a Managing Director at Coeus Capital, a long/short US focused hedge fund, from 2006 until 2011. At Coeus, Mr. Pflieger was responsible for the firm’s investments in a number of sectors including technology, media and telecom.  Prior to joining Coeus, Mr. Pflieger was a Partner at Generation Partners, a private equity firm focused on providing capital to growth companies through buyout and growth equity transactions, from 1996 until 2006. Mr. Pflieger holds a B.B.A., summa cum laude from the University of Michigan and an MBA, with high distinction from Harvard Business School. 

Previously he co-founded the venture capital arm of Pequot Capital, a leading multi-billion-dollar U.S. registered investment adviser focused on public and private technology companies. Following Pequot, he co-founded and was Managing Partner of RockRidge Capital, which actively managed investments in small-cap public technology companies on behalf of a major European bank.  He currently serves on the Eli Whitney Investment Advisory Committee of Connecticut Innovations, the state’s venture and economic development fund.  Mr. Jansen holds a BBA from Nijenrode, the Netherlands School of Business, and an MBA for the Edwin L Cox School of Business at SMU.  Mr. Jansen is a frequent speaker at Venture, PE and Impact Conferences.

At the beginning of the cellular industry, he invested in and structured the funding for Millicom Inc., the firm that led the global rollout of the mobile phone. With polio-vaccine icon, Dr. Jonas Salk, he started The Immune Response Corporation that developed Dr. Salk’s AIDS vaccine and the invention underpinning the first FDA-approved cancer vaccine. He also co-founded Myriad Genetics which, as the first human genome company, discovered the breast cancer gene, BRCA1. As a philanthropist, he supports Harvard University (for its innovation lab), The Jonas Salk Legacy Foundation (for the eradication of polio), The David Lynch Foundation (to teach Transcendental Meditation to veterans, urban children and at-risk women), The Audubon Society (for habitat conservation), and Yaddo, the writer and artist community where he is an Honorary Lifetime Member.

During this period, innovation velocity increased by six fold to over 400 significant software iterations per year. While running this division, Mr. Rose was able to fund and launch initiatives in mobile apps/HTML5, and two Social initiatives that generated 40 industry-leading patents. Before that, Mr. Rose was the CIO of Priceline.com for over 11 years, helping it to grow from a $100M market cap to a $30B market cap in the process. This was accomplished both by organic growth fueled by over 4,000 software innovations per year, and by more than 10 successful acquisitions that accelerated the global growth of the company in all major markets worldwide. Mr. Rose has also been CTO of Standard & Poor's, and has run a successful software start-up related to business intelligence in the telecommunications industry. He now runs a small Venture Capital firm specializing in companies that create value through big data and/or applied AI frameworks.
